Dress Code

 The school dress code will encourage discipline and a feeling of unity among the dancers. Dress code will be strictly enforced.

Girls:

• *Pre-school – age 6: Black leotard, pink footed tights, pink leather ballet shoes with elastic sewn across instep, white tap shoes, dance skirts allowed.

• *Ages 7 & up: Black leotard, pink footed tights, pink ballet shoes with elastic sewn, back jazz-tap shoes, black slip-on jazz shoes.

• *Advanced dancers: Solid colored leotards, pink footed tights, pink ballet shoes, pink pointe shoes, black jazz-tap shoes, black slip-on jazz shoes.

• Dancer’s hair must be pulled back off of the face and neck; ballet bun is preferred.

*Dance skirts are allowed for ballet; black jazz pants for tap and jazz.

*No ankle tights, no satin ballet slippers.

*Purchase Capezio, Bloch or Leo’s brands please.

Boys:

• Ballet: White t-shirt, black tights, white socks, white ballet shoes (young boys – black shorts instead of tights)

• Tap & Jazz: White t-shirt, black jazz pants, black jazz shoes, black tap shoes
