At Linda Lavender School of Dance, we’ve spent more than 65 years inspiring movement, building confidence, and creating a space where every dancer—from toddler to adult—can thrive. Our experienced staff is passionate about providing a supportive, structured environment where students grow not only as dancers, but as individuals.

Dance is more than steps—it’s discipline, creativity, and expression. It’s about showing up, trying again, and discovering the strength within. Whether your child dreams of the spotlight or simply wants to explore a new outlet, our goal is to guide each student with integrity, encouragement, and expert training.

We welcome dancers of all ages and levels, and we’re proud to offer professional instruction that meets every student where they are—while helping them reach their full potential. At LLSD, we believe the lessons learned in the studio extend far beyond the stage.

We at the Linda Lavender School of Dance sincerely are pleased with your trust in choosing our school. Proper dance training does many wonderful things for your child. These include the benefits of sound physical development, good posture, poise and grace as well as the more intangible, but all important mental factors, such as overcoming shyness, self consciousness and over aggressiveness. Dancing is not only physically stimulating, it creates an interest in all the arts thus opening up to the child the vast, wonderful world of culture.

Dancing is hard work. It is concentration and coordination; but above all----dancing is fun. A constructive fun that creates a quality almost otherwise unobtainable for both you and your child.

Dancers, ages 8 and above, who desire to attend the Twin City Ballet Company summer dance workshop and possibly audition for the company are required to take two to three ballet classes weekly.
